ACT reACT Rhythm and Sound.
Today we moved away from reACTing to visual prompts and worked with our bodies and percussion to inspire each other through sound and movement.
At times the room was loud and energetic with african vibes, at other times it was still and full of anticipation whilst a single person took control and instructed everyone when to perform.
We also explored drawing "scores". Using thick black pen on white paper, our lines and shapes were then transformed into music, using both instruments and voices.
Here are some pictures from the sessions.

ACT reACT - Layers of projection
This was the final ACT reACT session in which we used projection as our focus. We walked into an environment of netting and paper, hanging in layers throughout the room. The projector shone from the far end of the room and we soon discovered that as we moved the layers the room filled with light and colour.
Paper was ripped and sculpted, nets were hung and pinned to the side and the digital drawing expanded, resulting in an exciting new space to relax in.
Here are some photos from our sessions, we hope you enjoy.
