Into the Sand
Today we created large art installations using sand and slide projectors.
Our miniscule multicoloured slides threw vibrant light across the sand and the peaks and dips in the sand created wonderful light and shadow.
Impromptu performances happened as we used silks to capture different layers of the projections.
Some of the photos clearly show the process, whilst others invite the imagination to many other places, wind swept deserts or sunset filled beaches.
We hope you enjoy the photos.

Wild Landscape
Today we explored a multi-layered environment, traveling through dark, unknown spaces.
Some people found caves with strange things hidden within. Others found places to hide among the undergrowth of a dark woodland. With branches hanging and chambers full of dripping vines there were many opportunities to let your imagination run wild.
Here are some photos from the session, we hope you enjoy.

ACT reACT 27 February 2015
Today we entered a dark space, lit only by a torch light and went on a journey through movement and sound as more colour and light filled the space.
Using multiple projectors and digital drawing, the room was transformed every time a new artist sat down at the iPad.
White paper caught the colours from the projection whilst vibrant fabrics distorted and changed the light.
We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as we enjoyed being part of such a magical session.

ACT reACT Friday 23 January 2015.
On our way to the event, people discovered the screen installation in the corridor and we spent many fascinating minutes interacting with the changing "mirrors".
Once we arrived at the event space we were surrounded by paper, plastic and lycra screens, which created passages and windows into hidden worlds.

The floor art work from last week became a focus for exploration with light, moving with torches in front and behind the suspended giant drawing. This free flowed into a moving canvas for light work as a parachute canopy unfurled from the centre of the space.
